What African-Americans, where during the civil war?
I am doing a project for my study of the Mississippi project. I need to know what African Americans (preferably the slaves) of the war during the Civil War and after (at the time of construction) I would also like to know the site that achieved. Thanks!
Most of them, in the south, were at home to care for women-folk.
